Public Benefits Team
The team assists clients in determining public benefits for which they may be eligible, guides them through the application process, and assists them in maintaining eligibility.
Ann Westall, Public Benefits Manager
Ann spent nine years with the Department of Children & Families processing ICP, Hospice and AIDS Waiver Medicaid applications, including three years as a Senior Specialist training and supervising other employees. Her past experience also includes work in foster care, adoption, and child protective services.
Ann served on the Governor’s Task Force on Juvenile Justice, the board of directors of Big Bend Cares, and is a memeber of the Coalition on Aging. She is an active advocate for elder issues and is a member of the Positive Aging Community Project. She has a bachelor of arts degree from Florida Presbyterian College (now Eckerd College).
Annette Driggers, Public Benefits Specialist
Annette spent 30 years with the Department of Children & Families processing ICP, Hospice and AIDS Waiver Medicaid applications, including five years as a Senior Specialist training and supervising other employees. Her past experience also includes the position of office manger and bookkeeper for a private business. Annette is a Perry native and works in both Perry and Tallahassee.
Krista Graham, Public Benefits Specialist
Krista spent two years with the Department of Children & Families processing ICP applications and 11 years with the Division of Disability Determinations adjudicating Social Security disability claims, including four years as a unit supervisor.
Krista’s past experience includes being a counselor in a group home and teaching ballet. She has also served in multiple volunteer roles in the community, including secretary on the board of directors for Capital Soccer Association and on the Entertainment Committee at Young Actor’s Theatre. She has a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.
Lisa is the firm's Client Relations Coordinator. She is most often the first point of contact new clients have with Waldoch & McConnaughhay. She attentively listens to determine the client's needs, transfers the call to the appropriate team member or schedules the client. She has a bachelor of arts degree from Florida State University.
Alisa Hamm is Lauchlin Waldoch's probate and guardianship assistant.
Michelle C. Elkins
Michelle is the Legal Assistant and Administrator to Jana McConnaughhay in the areas of Estate Planning, Trust Administration and Probate. She is a graduate of Florida State University.
Nancy is the Legal Assistant and Administrator to Lauchlin Waldoch and Amy Collins in the areas of Estate Planning, Trust Administration and Guardianship.
